1. Who we are
This privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data by Praevide, established at Sterrenwacht 66, 3147 RC Maassluis, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42112085.
Praevide is the data controller for the data processed via this website and in the course of our services. For questions, you can contact us at contact@praevide.com.
2. What data we process
Depending on your contact with us, we may process the following data:
- Contact details - name, email address, phone number and company name that you provide to us, for example by email.
- Communication - the content of messages you send us.
- Client and project data - data needed to carry out and administer an assignment.
- Technical data - when visiting the website, limited technical information (such as IP address and browser type) may be processed for the operation and security of the site.
We do not process more data than is necessary for the purpose for which we collect it.

4. Cookies

5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data. We only share data with parties that help us deliver our services (for example hosting and software providers), or where a legal obligation requires us to. We conclude a data processing agreement with processors.
Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention periods
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary. We keep administrative and fiscal data in accordance with the statutory retention period (generally seven years for tax administration). We delete other data as soon as the purpose has been achieved.
7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Our way of working is set up in line with the principles of ISO 27001; for healthcare applications we additionally take the principles of NEN 7510 into account.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- The right of access to the data we process about you;
- The right to rectification of inaccurate data;
- The right to erasure (“the right to be forgotten”);
- The right to restriction of processing;
- The right to data portability;
- The right to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- The right to withdraw consent once given.

9. Filing a complaint
Do you believe we are not handling your data carefully? Please contact us first. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

We may amend this privacy policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the latest change at the top.
